Dikasse Zalla is a 3rd year international business student pursuing her bachelor’s degree at the Martin Tuchman School of Management. Natively from Burkina Faso, she currently resides in Montclair, New Jersey. She is heavily involved in several organizations on campus. She is a member of the Dean’s Student Leadership Council; the Special Events Coordinator for the NJIT Business club, a Peer Mentor to incoming freshmen, a Lab Assistant in the Ray Cassetta Financial Analysis Lab, along with working as an assistant in her Dean’s office. Dikasse has also had the honor of becoming an Avanade Scholar; a scholarship awarded to women studying STEM. She is 1 of 30 Avanade scholars worldwide.
Dikasse chose to attend NJIT to study business because she believes that NJIT can provide her with the necessary tools to succeed in the future. She is acquiring both the knowledge in business and the skills in technology; an important combination to possess in this ‘technology-ran’ world.
