Global Technical Sales
Gary Schneider is Vice President of Global Technical Sales, based in Armonk, New York. In this role, he is responsible for the Client Technical Leader architect community who are assigned to IBM’s top clientele, Global Techline, the Global Industry Solutions Centers (GISCs), and overall technical leadership and technical skills development for the Global Markets technical sales community.
Previous to this role, Mr. Schneider was CTO & Vice President of Technical Leadership in Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, and for IBM's Growth Markets Unit, based in Shanghai, China between 2010 - 2014.
Gary has had a diverse career in IBM, with jobs in Development, Channel Marketing, Sales Enablement and Technical Sales. He also co-founded a technology company in 1999, focused on retail point of sale advertising, which was subsequently acquired by Cineplex Inc. in July of 2013.
He has an Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo, and an M.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
