About Me

Professor Jose Casal has always been interested in human behavior and while in college considered going into the field of clinical psychology. A semester working in an outpatient clinic as part of a course convinced him that the degree of personal, emotional involvement required from a clinical psychologist would over time burn him out. He turned to the application of psychology and sociology to the management of organizations and here he is. He was unfaithful once to organizational behavior when he pursued and obtained an M.S. in Information Systems but it was just a fling, a product of the intoxicating early days of the Internet and of the booming dot coms. He is faithful to organizational behavior now. Well... He does on occasion flirt with history, which was his second love in college, but it is nothing serious, only a hobby.
