The Martin Tuchman School of Management is one of NJIT's six schools and colleges serving as the university's business school. MTSOM has 25 faculty and approximately 700 students.
NJIT's Martin Tuchman School of Management is one of 643 business schools across 43 countries to be accredited by AACSB, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. Being AACSB-accredited means a business school is able to continuously pass a strict set of standards that are designed to ensure quality. This is why AACSB-accredited business schools are the best in the world. Of the 643 accredited schools, only 574 institutions have both their Undergraduate and Graduate programs accredited. All of our undergraduate business specializations and our graduate Management of Science and MBA programs are accredited.
MTSM has also been ranked by Princeton Review (www.PrincetonReview.com) in its 2011 edition as one of “The Best 300 Business Schools.” The Princeton Review quotes “the course work is very current and the class discussions are lively.”
EduUniversal, The International Scientific Committee has awarded NJIT with 3 Palmes considering its International influence.
Unlike most schools of business, which include a limited number of technologically-related courses, MTSM weaves the whys and hows of technology throughout the undergraduate curriculum. Through rigorous and comprehensive coursework, students learn to solve problems, make effective decisions and use innovation to get ahead in business.
The mission of the Martin Tuchman School of Management is to educate and prepare our graduates for life-long success as management professionals, corporate leaders and academic scholars in the dynamic, technology-driven world of global business. Embedded within New Jersey’s technological university, the school of management integrates fundamental business principles with technical knowledge and critical-thinking skills and leverages strengths across the university from engineering and computing to architecture and social science. In this interdisciplinary business-technology environment, MTSM delivers high-quality educational programs and experiential learning opportunities for our students, pursues scholarly academic research and engages in innovation and entrepreneurship activities to serve the community and strengthen economic development.
