We are excited to launch monthly luncheon research seminars to create a platform for faculty, students, and practitioners to learn about the advances in real estate technology, investigate new interdisciplinary research opportunities, and get to know the startups and companies in real estate technology and design.
The newly established Paul Profeta Real Estate Technology, Design, and Innovation Center is designed to create synergies for interdisciplinary research. The organizers of the lecture series are inviting researchers who are working on disruptive technologies, and are actively transforming the real estate field, to share their ideas with the NJIT community. Participating researchers include Dr. Darius Sollohub from Hillier College of Architecture whose current research interest is in autonomous vehicles and sustainable development, planning, and urban design practices; Dr. Junmin Shi from Tuchman School of Management and Dr. Haim Grebel from NCE whose research areas include Net-zero Housing and Community Centers for Resiliency and Sustainability in Newark. The series will start in January 2022 and will continue until May. Email Dean Tukel oya.i.tukel@njit.edufor more information.
