How many classes can I take?
Students ordinarily may take up to 19 (undergraduate) or 12 (graduate) credits per semester. If you'd like to take classes beyond that limit, consult the table below to confirm your eligibility, then email your advisor to make the request.
Undergraduate Students (Increase to 21 credits)
Graduate Students (Increase to 15 credits)
Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors; Seniors with more than one semester remaining
Minimum GPA: 3.0
M1 students (fewer than 9 credits completed)
Minimum GPA: 3.6
Graduating Seniors
No minimum GPA, but must be in good academic standing
M2 students and above
Minimum GPA: 3.4
